The BCYF SuperTeens Program is a six week leadership program for 13 and 14 year olds who are interested in developing new skills, making new friends, and having a fun summer. This program is specifically designed to meet the needs of young adults who are too old for a traditional summer camp experience, but are not yet old enough to secure a summer job.
This program is offered to youth in every neighborhood of Boston and is based within our BCYF community center network. Activities include field trips to local businesses, government agencies, and art and historical institutions. In addition to weekly trips, there are workshops and educational activities that help prepare SuperTeens to be successful in their upcoming school year and in future employment opportunities. SuperTeens also participate in recreational activities including: swimming, rock climbing, computer classes, open gym, and other special activities as determined by their host site.
